The low-tech video series "Experimental Typography" comprises of twenty-six short videos made using different types of kaleidoscopic lenses, all compiled into a series of three final compositions. Presenting a slightly disturbing visual clash of typographic aesthetics,this experiment serves as an exploration of the conventionally static letter forms and treats them as individual entities of moving image. By using simple geometric segmentation, each of the videos is composed under the monotone sound of rotary mechanisms, which adds to the overall hypnotic feel of the work.
Studied scenery for theatre, cinema and TV in the National High School of Stage and Film Design, Plovdiv. 2 years on a BA Scenography degree in the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts, Plovdiv. Currently on a BA Graphic Design course at Camberwell College of Arts, part of University of the Arts, London.
