In the video I make use of the reverse rotation effect, which can be observed, for instance, on a wheel of a passing carriage. As soon as the rotation segments (panoramic picture frames in this case) reach a particular frequency, the rotation direction changes optically. What initially looked like a forward rotation suddenly seems to reverse its direction at a certain moment. The desired effect is due to the frame reduction occuring when one wants to see the whole panorama more times within a second.
