Many of the participants are non players. People were filmed seperatly, playing the five instruments, then speeded up and superimposed to make the tune. The work looks at kind of an inverse deconstruction, but also at ideas of time and how to bridge the time gap using digital ideas.
Anton Hecht studied creative arts for degree, and then an M.A in fine art. both at Manchester Metropoliton University. He works a lot with communities, looking at reworking traditional art forms. Across art forms looking at poetry, modern music and dance; and have exhibited in city galleries, such as Chester, stoke, and Darlington, as well as in non art gallery spaces such as a large projection in a Metro train station, a roof projection in a museum. He also make stand alone films which have been in many festivals around the world.
