led by Mark Coniglio (USA)
13-15.09.2010, 10:00-12:30 / 13:30-16:00, Studio 54, Art Academy
Public presentation of workshop results: September 15, 19:30 - 20:30
The three-day workshop will focus on creating interactive performance, installation and VJ sets using Isadora - a real-time media manipulation tool that has become the software of choice for hundreds of artists worldwide.
Taught by Mark Coniglio (creator of Isadora and Artistic Co-Director of multimedia performance group Troika Ranch), the participants will learn to use Isadora's flexible building blocks to present and manipulate video and sound in real-time. Coniglio will then build upon this knowledge by showing how external sensory systems can allow performers or viewers to interactively control the media with gestures or vocalizations.
All workshop participants will receive a three-month temporary license for the software so that they may continue their exploration after the workshop concludes.
