Sarah Buckius (USA) Impossible kinetic sculptures for the home 1:48
Film & video programme „Tales“
13/09/2010, Monday, 17:00 - 18:00, Studio 7, Art Academy
In this piece, I constructed impossible kinetic sculptures using functional everyday objects to perform highly non-functional, absurd movements. These sculptures cannot exist in real time and space, due to the limitations of the physical world. They are both funny and sad, thus a metaphor for so much of everyday life.
