Hugo Saldías was born in Santiago de Chile in 1974. While growing up, he studied guitar and made his first experiences playing in a cover band. In 1993 he started study on sound technology and music instruments. After that he leaves Chile to extend his studies in U.S.A, Spain and Germany, in the Technische Universität Berlin, where he also started to work at the Audiovisuelles Zentrum der TU Berlin. He works as a musician or sound engineer on various music projects, experimental to instrumental, album releases, European tour concerts, etc. Besides the music activities, he works on different areas as TV production, music and video production, several international events, audio installations, recording studios, etc.
