Evgenia Sarbeva is born 1984. Graduated from the National Academy of Arts (Stage Design). Works as a freelanced stage designer. Uses both classical methods for set designing (Tea Party, Lovech Drama Theatre; Real Stories from the life of Slanchevko, Vazrazhdane Theatre), and alternative approaches (Fairytale, Theatre Laboratory Sfumato; Mary Poppins’ Miracles, Sofia Theatre). As a freelanced artist, she is interested in the communication between people and the influence of modern technology upon the feelings and perceptions of people. Her recent projects include me-emoticons :-), ..hihi.. (interactive installations), ChatMe! :-) (video), ..scan.. (video mapping installation). At present she is a student in the Digital Arts Master’s Programme at the National Academy of Art.
